CURRENT METER MODULE

Monitor and measure AC or DC current up to 30A in your projects using the popular ACS712 Hall-Effect sensor. This module provides an analog output signal that can be read directly by Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, STM32, and other microcontrollers. Ideal for motor current monitoring, power consumption, battery systems, and overcurrent protection.

Key Features

  •  Measures AC & DC current (0–30A)

  •  Hall-effect sensing (low side is isolated from high current path)

  •  Analog output (easy to read with ADC)

  • Works with 3.3V and 5V logic systems

  •  Great for: motors, pumps, heaters, chargers, power monitoring, alarms

Specifications

  • Sensor: ACS712 (30A version)

  • Current range: ±30A (bidirectional)

  • Output type: Analog voltage

  • Zero-current output: ~VCC/2

  • Supply voltage: 3.3–5V

  • Typical sensitivity (30A version): ~66 mV/A (varies by board)

How to Use

  1. Connect the load in series through the screw terminal (current must pass through the module).

  2. Connect VCC, GND, OUT to your microcontroller.

  3. For DC current: read the analog value and convert using calibration.

  4. For AC current: sample the analog signal and compute RMS current in code.

What’s Included

  • 1× Current Sensor Module (ACS712 30A)

  • 1× Connection cable (as shown)

Note: For best accuracy, do a quick zero-current calibration (read OUT when no current is flowing).
